Tooting Run Club is an inclusive community-based club for beginner and intermediate runners aged 18 and over. The club was officially launched on 28 March 2022. All sessions are free, bookings need to be made on Eventbrite, search for Tooting Run Club.
We operate in a relaxed environment and some of our key aims are to widen participation, and develop and increase the fitness and activity levels of local people, particularly those from under-represented communities.
We also strive to provide runners with the opportunity to expand their network and connections by meeting new local people and hopefully some lasting friendships will emerge to help improve all-round quality of life.
We host sessions on four days each week:
Mondays: Interval training on Tooting Athletics Track and also on Tooting Common, start at 19:00
Wednesdays: Midweek social run & a Couch to 5K group on Tooting Common, start at 19:00
Thursdays: Strength & Conditioning Class in Studio at Track, start at 19:30
Sundays: Yoga Class in Studio at Track, start at 10:30
